Debut album from the Belarusian folk/black metal band – Piarevaracien (Пярэварацень), created in 2004. “Торны Шлях” (in English: “Broken-down Path”) came out this October 2008 through Volh Records (Russia). The album contains 9 songs with a total playing time of more that 36 minutes, as the atmosphere is strongly patriotic, for which helped and the folklore instruments. The band is with unknown current line-up. The lyrical themes are about nationalism, paganism and history. The first track called “Славен Е Велесе” is a short intro, after which the album starts with a mid and switches to slow tempo with the typical flute for this type of bands. Навальнiца is one of the most remarkable songs in this album, which pass several times from mid-fast to slow drums tempo, filled with angry vocals. After it Ой, Сонца! is in a fast tempo with mixed folk instruments. Купальская is an unique song in which aggressive black metal vocals are mixed up with clear female voice in a fairy-tale melody. Undeniable proof of the beauty of Belarusian folklore. The next song Сьмерць і Жыцьцё starts as a folk metal even with acoustic part and clear male vocals, but in the end it turns into a fast and raw black metal. Сьцягi”, “Пярэварацень” and БНР are Belarusian nationalistic songs.

Easy on the ear band from Minsk with strong lyrics and music!
